What To Expect?

• Cruise in Opunohu bay and through the beautiful lagoon of Moorea;
• Watch the spinner dolphins in their natural habitat (not guaranteed);
• Swim and snorkel with black tip reef sharks and sting rays;
• Drift snorkeling in the coral canyon and encounter green turtles and many colorful fish of the lagoon;

After picking you up from your hotel, you will sail around Opunohu Bay in search of spinner dolphins often near the coast or in the bays during the day. However, spinner dolphins are wild animals so we cannot guarantee their observation every day.

1st stop is snorkeling with stingrays and blacktip sharks. This activity takes place on a shallow sandbank of the lagoon where you can stand as the water is only waist-chest high. It is accessible to all ages without any particular physical shape needed. Stingrays are gentle creatures that come on their own and may make contact with visitor. Sharks keep a healthy distance because they are more afraid of you than you are of them.

2nd snorkeling stop is at the coral canyon. This activity is a drift snorkel where you will be drifted by the current while snorkeling. It takes place in slightly deeper waters so we recommend that our customers know how to swim and use snorkeling equipment (fins, mask and snorkel). However, if you are not very comfortable in the water it is possible to stay in the boat to observe the green turtles and other species of multicolored fish. (This activity may be suspended if the conditions are bad)

3rd snorkeling stop is at the coral garden between the two most beautiful motus off the island of Moorea, where you can swim and admire all kinds of multicolored fish. You will also enjoy a break with a drink and fresh fruit. After this stop we will head back and you will be driven back to your hotel.
Note: There is the possibility of dropping off customers at the Coco Beach Restaurant on the motu or elsewhere after the return excursion at your expense.
