Discover Moorea’s lagoon through a unique eco-educational experience combining Polynesian culture, snorkeling and citizen science.
Cruise through the beautiful Opunohu Bay while learning about its history and cultural heritage. Explore a pristine coral garden and take part in a hands-on citizen science program, learning how to observe and assess coral health alongside a trained local environmental guide.
The experience continues with a visit to a peaceful motu, one of the small coral islands formed from ancient reefs that surround French Polynesia’s volcanic islands. Discover the geological history of these remarkable islets, in the lagoon ecosystem, and experience another side of Polynesian island life while enjoying the natural beauty of the reef.
More than a snorkeling tour, this experience helps you better understand Moorea’s unique ecosystem, Polynesian culture and geological heritage while directly supporting a local environmental association.
